Albert J. (Buzzy) Dillon, 71, of Napton, MO, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to family choice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born October 28, 1940 in Saline County, he was the son of the late Albert Jackson Dillon and Minnie Vera Marquess Dillon. On July 9, 1960, he married Carol Lee Lightfoot who survives. He had lived in Saline County his entire life, working for the Missouri Department of Transportation for 28 years, retiring in 1996.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Danny Dillon and wife Barb of Napton; five grandchildren: Karen Wilhite, Sara Dillon, Judy Dillon, Danny Dillon, II and Christy Dillon; three great-grandchildren: Brandon, Matthew and Katherine; five brothers: John Dillon, Jack Dillon and Jerry Dillon, all of Houstonia, Carroll Dillon of Marshall and Darrell Dillon of Houstonia; two sisters, Mary Johnson and Dorothy Cornine, both of Houstonia; three half-brothers, Brian Dillon of Sweet Springs, Aaron Dillon of Sedalia and Scott Dillon of Sweet Springs; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Kathryn Sleeper, Jane Kearney, and Betty Bryson; and his twin brother, Delbert Dillon.
