Biography

Roberta E. Barr, 93, of Marshall, MO, died Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall with Fr. Tom Alber officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born February 16, 1919, in Shackelford, MO, she was the daughter of the late Charles T. Barr and Harriet Thompson Barr. She had lived in Saline County her entire life where she was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She worked for many years as a secretary at International Shoe Company in Marshall.

Survivors include one sister, Regina Witcher of Marshall; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and close family friend, Virginia Deems of Marshall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
