Bobby Joe Huff, Sr., 72, of Carrollton, MO, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012, at his home with his loved ones by his side after a short battle with cancer.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to H.E.L.P. Services in Carrollton, MO. Born August 14, 1940, in Saline County, MO, he will be sadly missed by his loving companion of 20 years, Judy Acton, and her children, Jim Acton and Tammy Ellis; his sons, Charles Ray Huff and wife Lori of Milo, MO and Bobby Joe Huff, Jr. and companion Brenda of Slater, MO; his daughter, Mary Boone and husband Pat of Richfield, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step-grandsons; one step-granddaughter; five sisters, Maxine Combs, Joyce Sitzes and husband David, and Janice Arth all of Marshall, Mary Ruth Riley of Springfield, MO and Kathy Derboven of Higbee, MO; three brothers, Charlie Huff and wife Peggy of Higbee, MO, Donald Huff and wife Shirley and James Leroy Huff of Marshall; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence James Huff and Gertrude Ford Huff; two daughters, Michelle Jones and Carrie Jo; and one brother, Bill Huff.
