Life Legacy


Raymond Earl Waldron, 65, of Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at The Living Center in Marshall.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to family choice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born September 23, 1946, in Ravanna, MO, he was the son of the late Wilbur Gene Waldron and Caroline Griffin Waldron. On September 11, 1968, he married Susan Constable. They later divorced, but remained friends through the years. He had lived in Marshall since 1971, previously living in Princeton. He worked at Con-Agra in Marshall for over 20 years where he was a fork-lift operator. In addition to working at Con-Agra, during the summers he hauled hay and cut wood in the winters.

Survivors include one daughter, Yvonne Smith of Independence, MO; two sons, Troy Waldron and Floyd Brown, both of Marshall, MO; one step-daughter, Yvette Day of Independence, MO; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Waldron of Spickard, MO, and Gary Waldron of Princeton, MO; two sisters, Phyllis Phillips of Reno, NV, and Diane Walker of Mercer, MO; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one great-grandson and one brother.
