Mona G. Hinton, 79, of Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Born October 5, 1932, in Saline County, MO, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Bowers and Ethel Hinton Bowers Fogle. She was a 1950 graduate of Marshall High School and lived in Marshall most of her life. On June 10, 1950, she married Roy Hinton, Jr. who survives of the home. She was a retired dental assistant and a member of the First Christian Church in Marshall.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Gary Hinton and wife Karen of Chillicothe, MO; one daughter, Cindy McKnelly and husband Mike of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren, Brandy McKnelly, Laura Keene, Drew Hinton and Kelsey Hinton; two great-grandchildren, Katherine Shoenberger and Kyleigh Keene; two brothers, Kenneth Bowers of Marshall and Harvey (Butch) Fogle of Columbia, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
