Biography

Donna K. Grapes Arnold, 63, of Marshall, MO, died Saturday, September 24, 2011, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Born March 25, 1948, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Ardell Hall and Ruth Davis Hall Tumlinson. On May 28, 1965, she married Mike Grapes who preceded her in death on August 16, 1979. On April 16, 1993, she married Bobby R. Arnold who survives of the home. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and had worked at the Marshall State School & Hospital, ConAgra Foods and Missouri Valley College. She was a member of Shade Tree Classic Car Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Michael William Grapes and wife Polly of Sedalia, MO, Kim Allison and husband Bryon of Marshall and Christie Cornine and husband Jimmy of Marshall; two step-children, Bobbi Arnold of Marshall and Billy Stephen Arnold and wife Dixie Renea of Brunswick, MO; seven grandchildren, Michael Grapes, Kailey Grapes, Jason Allison and wife Ashly, Brittni Allison, Bryce Allison, Nikki Cornine and J.P. Cornine; four step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Renee Newman of Virginia Beach, VA, Kelly Ivy of New Franklin, MO and Penny Inskeep of Humansville, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Karla Jean Huber; and her stepfather, Bill Tumlinson.
