Biography

Grace Marlyn Duffer, 80, of Marshall, MO, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Big Bend Retreat in Slater.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Marshall with Rev. Wayne Doolin officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church and memorials may be made to First Baptist Church. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born December 2, 1930 in Beatrice, NE, she was the daughter of the late Cleve Winton Little and Grace Mabel Sheik Little. On October 8, 1954 she married Edwin Duffer who survives. She lived in the Marshall most of her life where she was a graduate of Marshall High School and worked for Marshall Municipal Utilities for 25 years. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for several years and was a past member of The Forum Club.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Terry Duffer of Bloomington, IL; one daughter, Debbie Roldan and husband Raul of Woodbury, MN; four grandchildren: Andy Duffer, Christie Duffer, Jamie Roldan and Julie Roldan; two sisters, Marjorie Joyce of Lincoln, NE and Joy Little of Marshall; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Georgene Carpenter.
