Biography

Earl E. Reinwald, 81, of Sioux Falls, SD, died Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Lee’s Summit Hospital East in Lee’s Summit, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs, with Rev. Dan Wing officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial with military rites will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Born August 18, 1928, in Sweet Springs, MO, he was the son of the late William Reinwald and Elva Zumbehl Reinwald. He had lived in Sioux Falls since 1971, moving from Kansas City, MO, and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. He was a retired sales manager at Monroe Systems for Business. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post in Sioux Falls. He was a pilot, loved to fly and was a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.

Survivors include his children, Brian E. Reinwald and wife Kristal of Brandon, SD, Randy Reinwald of Sioux Falls, David Reinwald of Sioux Falls and Deb Iverson of Orange City, IA ; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edith Helt and Darlene Vogelsmeier both of Marshall; one brother, Wilbert Reinwald of Concordia, MO; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Marie Patchin of Raytown, MO.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson.
