Danny Joe Gaddy, 55, of Columbia, MO, formerly of Marshall, MO, died Thursday, January 28, 2010, at University Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Richard Ricard officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Blue Lick Cemetery south of Marshall. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Born August 17, 1954, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Joseph Harry Gaddy and Minnie Irene George Gaddy. On March 28, 1996, he married Wanda J. Pummill who survives of the home. He was a graduate of Marshall High School and worked for the state of Missouri for 30 years, most recently working at the Boonville Correctional Center.

Additional survivors include his children, Cory Gaddy of Marshall, Dana Knox of Dallas, TX, Levi Gaddy of the home and Felicia Brown of Columbia, MO; five grandchildren; four sisters, Ada Nowlin of Warsaw, MO, Penny Green of Marshall, Connie Goring of Warrensburg, MO and Karen Simpson of California, MO; four brothers, Harry Gaddy of Marshall, Kenneth Gaddy of Aurora, CO, Don Gaddy of Marshall and Gary Gaddy of Clinton, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Derek Gaddy, and one sister, Wanda Joan Gaddy.
